I grew up in the Midwest. There were no shortcuts, no overnight success stories just ordinary people getting up every morning and doing what needed to be done. My father taught me that your word matters. That you finish what you start.

Long before I owned companies, I worked blue collar jobs the kind that leave dirt under your fingernails. Those jobs taught me something business school can't: hard work isn't punishment, it's a privilege.

The more time I spent in the fitness industry, the more it felt like something had changed. The mechanic finishing a ten-hour shift. The lineman waking before sunrise. The nurse working nights. Those were the people I admired  but they rarely seemed to be the face of the industry.

MMBC wasn't built because the world needed another supplement company. It was built because hard working people deserve a brand that represents them. Murder Muscle Barbell Club doesn't celebrate violence, It represents a commitment to murdering excuses before they become habits.

Twenty years from now, I don't need people to remember MMBC as the biggest company. I need them to remember that we stood for something.
